Adventures in Texas: New Braunfels

Went to pick up Kai at T Bar M camp after a week of fun filled days and decided to spend the night in New Braunfels. We had been up there a few years ago for the Fourth of July fireworks and I forgot how beautiful and quaint it was. We had dinner at Huisache and Gelato at Scoop Street. The kids loved running on the train tracks. 

My favorite things in New Braunfels:

1. Landa Park: love watching the fireworks here.

2. Wildlife Park: Kinda pricey but we once had an ostrich stick his head in the car and try and eat Nick and Kai. You get to feed the animals and they come right up to your car! Make sure to get extra food, we always run out and the kids love sitting up front and feeding the animals

3. Natural Bridge Caverns. Perfect when it’s hot outside. The tour is an easy walk and the kids love being in a cave!

4. Sclitterbahn. This is its own world. An amazing water park. You could spend a couple of days here!

5. T Bar M Camp: Kai spent a week here and loved it!
