Quite possibly my favorite hotel

When we first moved here to San Antonio we tried to explore with lots of weekend trips and somehow we happened upon Lost Pines Hyatt just outside of Austin and fell in love. This hotel is beautiful and quaint and has so many great amenities for the kids and family. They have a lazy river and a slide, with a beach area for the kids to play in. They have bikes you can ride and planned activities every couple of hours like: craft hour, sitting on a real longhorn bull, animal petting (like llamas), s’mores around a campfire, wagon rides and the list goes on…

Last year we went for Thanksgiving and they even had a fake ice skating rink which the kids thought was awesome since we aren’t in Utah anymore. They also do an elaborate breakfast with Santa where he came in riding a longhorn bull. The kids thought that was incredible! There is just something about the hotel that makes it so special and it’s only a short drive to Austin. If you are ever in the area you have to check it out.
