Safari Party
This was definitely one of my favorite parties, probably just because of the animals!
I used my usual crepe streamers which I promise I will do a tutorial soon but love how they add a little drama.
We took pics for the invites at the zoo in safari clothes while feeding the giraffes and found a great place on Etsy to make them! I spray painted a bunch of safari animals and binoculars gold for decoration.
The donuts were for sure a big hit and perfect for the school snack too! Annie’s Petite Treats always makes the best cake pops and these were adorable little animals!
To counteract all the sugar we made a watermelon hippo and carrot lion.
My childhood i always remember a piñata at the parties so i feel like it isn’t a party without a piñata!
Zoomagination brought all sorts of animals from lizards, snakes, spiders, owls, sloths and birds. It was so fun to even be able to touch some of them! The funnies and our favorite was when they had all the kiddos close their eyes and put out their hands and they places a huge boa constrictor in their hands! If you live near San Antonio you should definitely consider them for a party! We made this fun cheetah cake that was even spotted inside!
I made my usual fake cake with fondent and styrofoam forms, I’m telling you, you need to try it sometime!
